Story
Xander has been growing his hair throughout the lockdowns of 2020 and beyond and the time has come to say farewell to his curls. On 31 May he will be having his first hair cut since 6 December 2019 and is hoping for every snip of the scissors and buzz of the razor he will raise valuable funds to support the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital who did so much to support Reuben and his family.Updates

Thank you again to everyone who has donated and shared Xander’s story. In his wildest imagination he could never have reached such an incredible total.
He has enjoyed being able to tell people how important the chop was, and how special Reuben was and always will be to us all.

It’s nearly time!
30th May 2021✂️ The big day is nearly here!!!! And how fitting that the final outing for the mop was a victory for the mighty Croston u9 Greens.
The hair is a lot longer, and the shorts are a lot shorter but from their very first game together Xander got so much of his enjoyment of football from Reuben…not least a small part of Reuben’s love for Liverpool FC!
Over £2,500 raised so far for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, every penny set to do amazing things in memory of a truly amazing young man.

But thanks to everyone’s incredible generosity WE ARE!!!!! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support.

Every penny raised is in memory of Reuben, a true superhero whose friendship and courage will always be with Xander and us all.
